2000 Volkswagen Passat Engine not turning over

Ran out of gas and now engine will not turn over. Gas is coming out but not sparking? Spark plugs all good. Changed the engine speed sensor but still does not spark.

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer
