1999 Volkswagen Passat cylinder 3 misfire

My car has just recently started misfiring and we checked the spark plugs and wires and they were still good on the third cylinder the spark plug is not firing at all I useda test light to make sure it was getting juice and it wasnt what is my next option on finding out why this cylinder is misfiring?

No spark at the end of the no.3 wire -Check the resistance of the wire anything over 30K ohms replace it to confirm swap the wire with another one.

Misfire at a specific cyl -check the sparkplug/compression/injector
