My 1999 Jetta (79,000) needs the Catalytic converter and O2 Sensor replaced. I was quoted for parts and labor: $221 - O2 Sensor; $790 - Converter

This includes parts & Labor. Is this fair or too high?

Thank-you so very much!

Heck, top of the line convertor you can get for 300 bucks and thats with the y pipes.

No way will the installation cost 500 bucks for that

a o2 sensor will cost no more then 100 bucks either and takes but 30 minutes to install it.
