I have a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T has approximately 125,000 miles on, I had recently purchased the car back in July 2007 and I have replaced the Oxygen Sensor in front of the catalic converter twice so far. I dont know what keeps causing that one to go bad, I you could tell me that would be greatly apprecaited, Thanks again

Are you sure it’s the o2 sensor that is bad
It may be the wiring or vacuum leak or other

Well everytime my Check Engine light comes on and I throw my computer on it, it keeps showing the code for the Oxygen sensor on the engine, sorry I said it was the one infront of the converter but its not that one. I have checked the wiring thinking maybe its getting against the block but its not and I did have a vaccum leak but took it to the dealer and got it repaired. I dont loose power and doesnt make any noise when my check engine light comes on. Im thinking maybe it doesnt have anything to do witht he Oxygen sensor at all now, could it possible be the Mass Air Flow?
