2001 Beetle jack stand placement

Where do they go (front and back)? Want to jack up the car at the specified points, but still need to place the stand somewhere. Any help appreciated!

Where your jacking your vehicle up the stands can be placed a few inches behind or ahead. As long as its on the vehicle frame, a nice sturdy part.

If your jacking up on the axel then I dont recommend puting the jackstand on the frame.

Because the information is wrong, it does not apply to the vehicle in question you would not jack up on the axle which is actually a CV
