2000 Other Volkswagen Models clicking

Hi

my car is clicking but not sure where from. I have tried and tested the cv joints but I dont tgis is the problem. The noise comes and gos when it wants and is louder at low speads and eg. Driving in trafic. I have no idea what the fault could be. Please help thanks.

Drive slowly forward and backward while turning in a parking lot going through a wide range of motion.

Do you hear a clicking noise? If not chances are its not the cv and you should be checking the wheel bearings.

Will be waiting a reply!

Also jack up the wheel and feel for movement in the wheel, if noticed check bearings for endplay or ball joints. Even tie rods.
