2006 Volkswagen Jetta Air bag

My air bag fault illuminated. Are there any troubleshooting procedures? Do the make an affordable DTC scanner for, a 2006 Jetta TDI. I plan on running this car into the ground more than once. I do my own maintenance, I have the Bently manual but I have'nt seen any help yet but, I am still reading. Thanks Terry

Hi there,

thank you for the donation.

You will have to get a scan done t the indicated fault code will give you the faulty component, as foe a suitable scanner, that I just can't answer as I am in Australia and I am unsure as to what you have over there.
