2001 Volkswagen Jetta no gas reaching injectors

Hello thanks for any help--changed the fuel pump-fuel filter-fuel pressure regulator and not getting any fuel to the injectors-car just stopped working-not getting any gas to come out the fuel tank even with a new fuel pump, I can hear it whinning but no gas goes to even the fuel filter. Any help would be great. Thanks R.M.

You need to inspect the fuel pump and bench test it in a fuel container be extra cautious doing it

Its a 2001 vw jetta-regular gas--its got me puzzled--put in a new fuel pump-took it out twice already to test it and when I turn the key I could hear it whinning but its not pumping any gas to even the fuel filter--put a new fuel filter and even the pressure regulator--i dont know what else. Any help would be great. Thanks R.M

If its hooked-up properly in the tank and its coming on and not producing pressure its no good.

Thank You for your time--do you mean that even though I can hear it coming on that it would be no good? Im going to take it out and test it in a bucket of water-Its safer than messing with gas and I just have to make sure I get all the water out if its working. Thanks again---RM

-do you mean that even though I can hear it coming on that it would be no good? If its coming on and its not pushing fuel its no good manufacturer defects-

OK now i've heard it all--went to take out the fuel pump but it started raining--I opened the drivers side door and I heard the fuel pump "whinning"-No keys in the ignition. Opened it again and nothing, waited 15 minutes and it did it again. Can someone shoot me please. RM
