Hi, The Code Is a Control Module Ram Error Code. The ECU For That Car Is Under The cowl. Remove The Plastic Panel To The Rear Of The hood. Disconnect The Battery, Remove The EcU From the car, Remove The Torx Screws Holding The ECU Together, There Inside The ECU Is A Three Inch Piece Of rubber Hose carefully Remove and Replace It. Reinstall The Ecu, Reconnect The Battery. Have The Code Cleared.
Hope This Helps You,
Good luck

Hi, There Is a Technical Service Bulletin For your Car. Vw Says That Code Po605 Can Be Stored In memory Due To Low Battery condition. Do Not Automatically Replace The ECM For This condition. First, Perform The following: Verify That Battery Voltage And condition Are OK.(Charge And Load Test As Necessary)If Battery Voltage Is Low: Correct reasonFor low Battery Voltage. With Battery Fully Charged :Clear Any Stored Dtc. Perform Throttle Adaptation Procedure(see Repair Group24, ECMto Throttle Valve Control Module, Adaptation. Test Drive Vehicle for Approximately one half hour. If MIL Light Does Not Stay On And DtcDoes Not Return:Low battery Voltage Has Most Likely Caused The dtc To be stored. Procedure is Complete. If MIL Light Comes back On And Stays on, And Dtc Is Stored Again, Perform The Following: Replace ECM.
