1999 Volkswagen Jetta car battery

The battery is dead. I need to change it but I can not get the battery to budge from where it sits. I don't see any bolts but somehow it is locked into place. What is the secret to changing the battery in this car?

Hi:
Check along the bottom of the battery for the mount. I believe it is a wedge shaped item that bolts into the battery tray and wedges against the side of the battery on a flange.

Let me know if this helps. If not, I'll go look at one for you.
