I have a 97 VW Jetta whose cruise control doesn't work. Just bought it used and am think its just the fuse. Can anyone please tell me exactly where its located. I saw the diagram but didn't specify exactly where its located. Thanks.

Yeah the brake lights work. I believe its a relay. Just wondering which one and where I don't have the manual.

there is no relay or fuse for the circuit. will have to test the cruise control brake pedal position (BPP) switch, the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) , cruise control vacuum pump and the cruise control switch. may be easier just to use a diagnostic scan tool capable of scanning cruise control systems to pinpoint the culprit.
