Hi,
My UK type VW Golf is making loud noises and vibrations when I start to accelerate in all gears. It is coming from the front nearside of the car and could be a bearing or some sort of shaft problem. There is no noise idle speed or when coasting but only when applying power.

What kind of problems could be causing this?

Thanks for your help.

Might be a cv joint on one of your axels

The front nearside? The first thing I thought of was a drive axial CV joint. Usually makes more noise when turnong and excelerating.
