IM TRYING TO FIND OUT WHY MY TIRES IN THE REAR KEEP ON WEARING UNEVEN. IVE REPLACED THE REAR TIRES TWICE THIS YEAR, AND THE CAR MAKES A ROARING SOUND IN THE REAR. THE TIRES WEAR LIKE A ROLLER COASTER.A MECHANIC SAID THE RIMS ARE TOO HEAVY FOR MY CAR. THE SIZE IS 18"RIMS AND TIRES, ON A 2002 VOLKSWAGON GOLF 2.0L. THE ALIGNMENT HAS BEEN DONE SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY ARE STILL DOING THAT CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY.

What you mean they wear like a roler coaster?

Those are quite the large tires but that should cause uneven wear.

Are the tires properly mounted/ rims not bent I hope.

They balanced and the back end aligned?

Sounds like possible bad wheel bearing, trying putting on new tires of a smaller size and see how it goes, if it stops the wear, theres a issue with the tires. If not its not in the tires.
