Hi guys can you please how to adjust the handbrake on a volkswagen golf i.6cc automatic, year 2002 model, and also how to push rear caliper piston back home to fit new pads. Thank you

The adjustment for the parking brake is on the lever assembly in the center console. You may need to remove part of the console to access the adjustment rods/nuts.

There is a special tool designed specifically for depressing the piston in a parking brake equipped caliper.
You need the screw the piston in clockwise as it is being pushed in. It can be done with pliers and a standard piston compressor, but you have to be very careful not to damage the piston dust boot.
