I got a vw golf like a week ago everything is good. But my battery keeps draining. The alternater is good everthin is good. But the battery keeps dying.I got a whole new battery already I got a new negative terminal cuz the other one had the screw missing.I taped up all the amp cables that the previous owner left exposed. And still the car keeps drainign itself. What is the problem? Lol

You have a short within the electrical system that's draining the battery.

Sounds like the amp wires are draining the battery check the battery for new type of connections or try to trace the wires back or get an amp reader and check the ampage after the key is out if it still reading 12 volts their the problem not hard but save a bill at the dealers

happy hunting jb166
