I just went to lock my car and the driver's side door lock popped out. I am unsure as to what to do. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated at this particular juncture. Thanks in advance.

You will need to replace the lock cylinder with a new and updated part. Most shops should also be able to re-key the new lock cylinder to work with the old key.
Until then you should be able to lock and unlock the vehicle from the passenger side or the trunk.
