Hi, my vehicle's heating was working fine. Until today, when I went to turn on the heat. Smoke started to come out of the vents. When I got home I checked to see if I could notice any out the ordinary but was unable to find anything. The car now has no heat, The car only came with heat so could you advise me what to do next. Thank you very much.

Is your car low on coolant? If it is it was probably steam that was coming out of the vents as the heater core would have died.

If no then there is a good chance that your blower motor burned up. There is the slim hope here that it was just the resistor in the dash but this would not smoke that much and would most likely come from just the dash itself.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
