Looks to be on the side of the engine, about half way down

Read the guide below on changing a thermostat, not vehicle specific but will give you an idea of what you are doing

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/replace-thermostat

See the diagram below for location/components of the thermostat and housing

You need to remove the alternator. Thermostat housing will be behind it. Attached picture. Why are you replacing the thermostat?

I just changed mine as well. You gotta be careful when you replace that thermostat stay in place until housing makes contact with engine block. Since nothing really holds thermostat and o-ring in place, if it moves out of place, it may not seal properly.

Hi,

Replacing the thermostat isn't too difficult to do. Make sure you have a place to put the old coolant after it's drained. You don't want any animals drinking it.

To get you started, here is a link that explains how in general one is replaced. You can use this as a more detailed guide when doing the job. The directions specific to your vehicle are attached in the pics below.

If you look at the pics below, the location of the thermostat is indicated.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
