Ok, here is my problem.I recently bought a new style beetle and the ac didn't work. I replaced the fuse over the battery and now the ac works and the fans come on low when the ac switch is on only. Then I figured out that both the cooling sensors were not working so I replaced them. Now the blue light on the dash did go off as it is supposed to, but the cooling fans run and stay on high speed when the car is turned on. I unplugged the fan relay control module connectors and the radiator sensor and the fans continue to run. Could my problem be the ac pressure switch and how do I test it.

I believe the malfunction is the temperature sender On the radiator, due to the fact that when you turn your AC on that circuit automatically turns your fan to assist in cooling down the condenser that gets very hot when the AC is operating. Make sure you diagnoses the temperature sender if you want to plug it it should turn off the fans. If you need any more help just let me know I will try to find some information for you on that specific car.
