1977 Volkswagen Beetle I have a 77 Beetle wont start.

My beetle wont start it has a diff. Eng with 2 carb. Dont know the size of it it has a good battery and starter I got new spark plugs and it still the same I order a mecanical book but cant find nothing similar does somebody knows the problem I was thinking the fuelpump try looking for it cant find it.

On earlier models the fuel pump is between the altinator and distributor. On fuel injected models the fuel pump behind the right front wheel and mounted on a bracket. A double relay for the injected fuel pump electrical is mounted behind the rear seat under a protective cover.
