I am having pitting and peaking on the Bosch points I am using, and I read an article back in l980 or 8l that I cannot remember the details, am hoping you can help. Article was in a hot rod magaziine, wiith pictures of points: 1 picture had points with peak on ground (stationary) side, and pit on hot side, pic. 2 had points with peak on hot (positive) side, and pit on ground side, and pic. 3 had even wear when condensor was correct value. I need to get info on what condensor conditions give picture l and picture 2 so I can correct if I am to continue using points and condensor system. (I had a failure using Compu-
fire module for a Bosch distrib, went back to points)Thank you for what help you can give me, my memory isn't this long, and I need the info.

Here's something that may help:

Other articles online seem to indicate automotive condensers are typically between 0.24 and 0.29 microfarads.

I've never seen a capacitance rating on a condenser, though.
