Pedal vibrates and steering wheel shakes when a load is applied such as going down a hill. Rotors front were cut in december with pads installed. 4k driveb since. Was play in cv shafts, more on driver side. Wheel bearings were fine. Replaced driver side cv shaft and outer tie rod end. Got a little better but pedal still vibrates and steering wheel shakes in hands. Rear pads need to be changed. Car tracks straight when driving and does not pull to either side when braking. Any ideas?

Hello,

If the brake pedal pulsates when depressing the pedal, then it is likely wrapped brake rotors.

You have mentioned that the rotors were resurfaced few months ago, but keep in mind that if the rotors were at or below the minimum specifications they can be wrapped much easily.

Check the runout of the rotors. This will tell you if they are wrapped. I have attached procedure for the runout test.
Also you need to check the thickness of the rotors as well.
Rotor Discard Thickness is 22.8 mm (0.898 in.) for the front.
See below for all the specifications.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
