Trying to figure out why at 78 MPH, my truck starts to vibrate. Is this common for Escalade's? I've gone through different chat groups people say front end alignment, some say bad struts bad suspension or wheel balance but it is pretty frustrating. Need a little help. Thanks

Hi KDICKERSON75,

Unfortunately, there is not one answer for a vibration at this speed. It could be any of the items that you listed or a combination of them.

The only real way to figure this out, is to hook up a vibration analyzer and get the reading. This will tell us what the system is causing the issue. Like a wheel/tire, axle, engine, suspension etc.

Most mechanics don't have one of these so the only option at that point is to check the suspension components for wear or lose parts. If none, they need to balance the tires and perform any alignment check. Once this is complete the truck needs to be driven again to recheck.

This is not a common thing for this specific vehicle meaning not all Escalades do this but they are no different then any other vehicle that is susceptible to this type of issue.

Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks
