While installing new tires the vehicle alarm kept going off so the tech after numerous alarm cycles disconnected the battery and completed the work. The truck will start but then shut off, this happens over and over again; I suspect the alarm system has a vehicle immobilizer as apart of the alarm system. How can I reset the alarm immobilizer system?

You should be able to reset that by simply starting the vehicle with the original ignition key. Cars with these keys also have valet keys that act just like this. Is there a yellow engine light or theft light flashing. If you are using the regular key then your transponder in the key may have just gone bad. If you have another spare key that you know works try that.
