I noticed these numbers while I was replacing an alternator and on the bracket and the block I noticed some numbers I was wondering if these numbers are the VIN or something else. Here’s a couple pictures of the numbers.

Hi,

Those aren't the VIN. One appears to be an engine code and the other a part number.

Where were they found?

Let me know.

Hi,

The VIN is at the base of the dash/windshield on the driver's side and is usually printed on a manufacturer's label either on the door frame or under the hood.

Let me know.
