Every time I fired the car when it is cold the VDC light comes on, and it's like lost its power. I always turn the engine off then try to fire it again couple times then it drives.
I don't have this problem when the car is hot nor warm.
Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to 2CarPros. VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) is a fancy term for traction control that Nissan likes to use. When it detects wheels slipping, it can reduce engine power and throttle response. In your case, I would suspect a wiring type of issue with one of the wheel speed sensors, which is transmitting bad data to the ABS module (which runs the VDC). You'll need a fairly pricey scanner to talk to the ABS module and look at live data to see which sensor to look at. You can try doing a visual inspection of the wiring at each wheel, but I wouldn't hold my breath hoping to see the problem that easily. You can also make sure that the sensors are tight, with good, strong, and clean connections.

You can also try the following to reset the system. Point the wheel straight, start the car, and then drive it for at least ten minutes without slowing down under 10 mph.

If all that fails, then you'll have to find a mechanic with a scanner capable of talking to the ABS system and see what it says, or take it in to the dealership.

Thanks again for using 2CarPros. Good luck!
