2005 Vauxhall Zafira oil change

2005 Vauxhall Zafira Manual

I have changed the oil and filter on a Zafira Diesel but when I tried to check the dip stick I find there is no oil on it I know there is 4 litres of oil in the engine please help

Is the vehicle on level ground ? keep adding a little more oil untill you see it showing on the dipstick ... I do not have the spec's for this vehicle but it should hold around 5 litre's ... if you have the dipstick in correctly it should be showing soon ... your local library or autoparts store should be able to supply a repair manual with all the information you require !!
