1999 Vauxhall Vectra battery problems

Hi my vectra has a earth fault which drains my battery when the car is not running which is a big problem as I have 2 disconnect the battery everytime I stop or it drains completely flat could u plz advise me where 2 locate the problem or give me some advice as I cant afford 2 take it 2 a garage any advice will be really appreciated I will be making a donation 4 your time as soon as I get paid thanx

Start by checking all ground/earth wires from battery to chassis and engine are in good condition and well connected

Could it be a relay switch by any chance

It was actually the radio as the wires are the wrong way round 4 anthing other than a standard vectra radio.
