2001 Vauxhall Tigra Heavy Steering

Hello,

I currently drive a Vauxhall Tigra (year 2001). I seem to have very heavy steering when I reverse as though I have no power steering but this only happens when I reverse. The problem seem to go once I am driving but then comes again. I am having problems finding out what this could be and would appreciate your help on this matter.
