i just bought this car I did 20 miles yesterday but the heater just comrs of cold it aint using any water but heat is poor

Start by flushing the heater core for blockages and replace the thermostat !!

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
