2005 Vauxhall Astra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

TRIED USUAL SUSPECTS. HAD A SLIGHT BANG. DOES THIS CAR HAVE AN INERTIA CUT OFF SWITCH AND IF SO WHERE IS IT PLEASE. WONT EVEN TURN OVER JUST A CLICKING SOUND FROM FUSE BOX. THANX LYNN

Vauxhalls are not fitted with a fuel cut off switch. You need to check the wiring from battery to starter motor.

Thank you very much for your reply for answering inertia switch question. Have tried what you said fault lies in fuse box, moisture getting in caused corrosion on terminals. Need to go to vauxhall "stealers " to replace.

You could try checking at a good recycle/scrap yard that deals with accident damaged vehicles ! Just a thought
