When I first start it in the morning in cranks and runs fine till about 15 to 20 minutes and it cuts off. It cuts off while driving on the highway, low speeds, and even when stopped, it is just random. I pull over put it in park, turn the key off then crank it and restarts and runs fine all day. A couple of times it did not start right back up but after five minutes it did. No engine lights, have all lights and electrical working, put in new battery and iac valve, had new pcm 2 years ago. This never happened until I changed the blower motor resistor, it only worked on high but after I changed it all speeds work but it is very loud on 3 and 4 not sure if this has anything to do with. I put the old resistor back in to see if it would be loud and it was but it was not before I put in the new one.

As far as the fan, the motor may be going bad. It really isn't tied into anything that could cause the engine to die on you. When it dies, is it all at once or can you tell it is going to happen? Also, when it didn't restart right away, by any chance did you check to see if there was spark and fuel to the engine?

Didn't check if it was fuel and spark I was driving, I'm not a mechanic but if I know the problem and can get to it it is done. After replacing parts in previous post it is narrowed down to ignition coil, egr valve, vacuum leak, spark plugs and wires, or vacuum leak. Someone told me it sounds like I have a misfire but I thought that would bring up and engine light. I just purchased the ignition coil I'll try that in the morning and see what happens but the funny thing is it did not cut off at all today

I have no warning that it's about to happen but recently at 40 mph it's a rough shift and it seems like I struggle getting up to speed, sometimes it jerks like it wants to backfire

Have you checked the catalytic converter to see if maybe it is plugged?
