As I type this I know you are not me and I would like for you to put your self in my shoes. I have a 05 4runner sr5 v6. In my view the engine, tranny and ac are good and does not smoke. Valve covers need to be replaced and good chance the struts and shocks to. What would you do if you were me.

Toyotas are good vehicle so I would do the work, do you have tools to do the job? If not here is a good starter set to help you get working.
