Jeep flooded up to bottom of vehicle. Insurance put in a remanufactured engine. Shortly after codes popped up with oil light and transmission over temp on dash. Codes P0520 P0700 and vibrating loud noise after repairs. Mechanic suggested valve body removed but no water present, could the engine or flooding be related to problem of valve body and car not shifting properly? Vehicle had no problems before flooding or remanufactured engine. Maintenance records available always had oil change on time.

If it was flodded it's junk, water probably got into one of the modules and screwed it up. Lso probably got in trans as well. I'm surprised they fixed it. Try unplugging some thingslike at trans and see if water in connector there, if it is put a hair dryer to it might help.

My insurance is saying they wont fix anything else including the transmission due to no water being evident in the transmission pan. I never had problems with the transmission before, and I have my maintenance records showing I took care of my car.

Insurance companies are not like a manufacturer I'm sure that you will be stuck with the way it is and or going to be the insurance company will do nothing and site some damn ridiculous clause so they are protected. It's unfortunate so best thing is do what I suggested as water would send stuff all over electrically.

Im not to sure, its a 5.7 hemi 2wd. No previous problems at all now a ton including transmission but insurance says its due to maintenance. I don't buy that since I take excellent care of this jeep as far as maintenance.
