Can I safely use Royal Purple Max Boost octane booster to pressure clean my fuel injectors at the fuel rail without damaging anything? If not, can I dilute it with fresh gas to reduce damaging the injectors or anything else?

Hello,

The max boost is to increase octane and fuel treatment, and it is supposed to be used with a tank of fuel.
To add a bottle of 16oz you will have to have a minimum of eight gallons of fuel. Any less fuel is not recommended, to use with a full can of 16oz, by Royal purple.

As long as you follow that guideline it should not have any adverse effects.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I currently have the fuel tank off to replace a fuel sending unit and fuel pump, and just wanted to clean the fuel injectors for now directly at the fuel rail. This would bypass any other fuel lines and the filter. Would it be safe to dilute the Max Boost with fresh gas and pressure clean the injectors at the fuel rail (say 2oz of Boost to 14oz of gas) or would damage occur?

I just want to use the Boost instead of spending anymore money on other products if it doesn't cause damage. The can does mention that it cleans deposits from the injectors.

It might be okay, but I would recommend you call the customer service line for Royal purple. As they don't recommend using it more than 2oz per gallon.
