Recently my USB port and cigarette lighter/charger port stopped working. So, I found the fuse for the lighter/charger port and changed it. Once I did it started working but the USB port still isn't working. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get the USB port to start back to working?

If your USB port in your 2010 Buick LaCrosse stopped working even after changing the fuse for the cigarette lighter/charger port, there could be a few possible reasons for this issue. Here's what you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

Check the USB Cable and Device: Make sure that the USB cable you are using is functioning properly and that the device you are connecting (such as a smartphone or USB drive) is also operational. Try using a different USB cable and device to see if the problem persists.

Check for Debris or Obstructions: Sometimes, dust, debris, or foreign objects can get lodged in the USB port, preventing proper connection. Carefully inspect the USB port and remove any obstructions.

Inspect for Physical Damage: Examine the USB port for any signs of physical damage, such as bent or broken pins. If there is visible damage, the port might need to be repaired or replaced.

Check for Power: USB ports require power to function. Ensure that the vehicle's ignition is turned on and that the power outlets are operational. If the cigarette lighter/charger port is working, it suggests that power is reaching that part of the circuit.

Inspect Wiring and Connections: There could be a loose or disconnected wire or connection related to the USB port. This might require disassembling some interior panels to access the wiring behind the port.

Check Vehicle Settings: In some cases, the USB port might need to be enabled through the vehicle's settings or infotainment system. Check the owner's manual or consult the vehicle's infotainment display to see if there are any settings related to the USB port.

Software Update: Some vehicles require occasional software updates to keep all systems functioning properly. Check if there are any available software updates for your vehicle's infotainment system.

Please go over these guides and get back to us.

The problem sounds like it is the radio itself. Here is how to change it out and get a rebuilt unit. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
