I have a short question; can you put the upper timing chain gasket on without removing valve cover if so how?
Do you

No, you cannot do that. The valve cover comes off before that can be performed

If it is a rubberized gasket and not glued you should be able to re use it after such a short time, otherwise replace it to be safe.
