I need to replace this part for my car listed above. Very beautiful and reliable classic. But I'm not sure if this is the upper or lower thermostat housing. So here's a picture of it. Starting to realize it's becoming hard to look for online and the Ford/Lincoln dealership discontinued this part. But I heard Napa may have it in stock while my last resort is pulling this part off a 1999 Continental from a junkyard. My question is that, does anybody know where exactly can I search this particular part?

Hello, I'm Danny.

That photo is of the thermostat water inlet connection. I've attached pictures below. It mounts to the thermostat water inlet housing. I'll try to get you a part number today. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hello again.

I did confirm that part is discontinued. I tried getting a part number from Ford but to no avail. Your best bet is to find a used one from a pick-a-part type yard or auto wrecking yard. You mentioned find one from a 1999 Continental and that will work. Most Lincoln Continentals with the 4.6 liter engine should work. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
