I have a female connector that I am unsure where it goes to. The plug is located near the power steering pump and the oil filter. The oil sensor is plugged in, but I cannot find where the other plug goes. It's black on the outside and red on the inside. I cannot find any information on this, but as you already know I am a complete rookie. I have seen that the 5.4l have a power steering sensor, but the 4.6l do not. I do not want to assume it is a dummy plug from a generic harness that fits both engines. Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.

It may have been made from factory like that especially with one truck having a different setup. A lot of times easier to make it that way instead of two different ones. If you have electronic suspension picture shows an unused connector there are a couple.
