I have replaced both idler arms, drag link, both inner and outer tie rods, but only on the driver side for the tie rod replacement. The problem of going more than 40 MPH while making a left turn my van makes a metal grinding sound. After replacing those parts, the problem still occurs.

Hi,

Are the brakes in good condition? Also, check to make sure the backing plate behind the brake rotors isn't bent or rusted and touching the rear of the brake rotor.

Also, have you checked and repacked the front wheel bearings? Each side has an inner and outer bearing. See attached pic. Make sure they are in good condition and properly greased and adjusted.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
