I’m trying to locate the oil pressure switch on my vehicle listed above. My oil pressure light comes on every now and again. I have just had an oil and filter change, and it still comes on after. I think it could be a faulty switch, and I need to replace it. Just don't know where to locate it.

On the VW golf, I believe the oil pressure switch is located on the oil cooler might be hiding a bit once you locate it ", follow the wires that should lead you to it. Good luck

Its been a while but I believe its strait above maybe a few inches up from the oil filter /cooler, on the driver's side front of the engine. Got to take off the plastic gravel guard under the car look up from there and you should see it with a good light.
