When I shift out of park the trunk pops open, the remote opener does not open the trunk (started yesterday), still works/operates doors - is there a shut off or can I disable the auto feature - can hear a click when I stand fight by the trunk and push the remote - what are the risks associated with disconnecting anything, can a fuse be taken out

Check your ground first then have it scanned if you want. You can unplug it as well.

The connector should be connected to the solenoid on trunk latch and the ground is behind right kick panel in front seat it's only 12 volts so you won't get hurt unplugging it because no power will go to it. Make sure your key will open the trunk first
