First without trying to start it turn the key until the dash lights up, just as the key starts turning do you hear a buzzing sound that lasts for 2 seconds or so then stops? if not turn it off and back on a few times to see if you notice it or not if you hear it that's your fuel pump when its working you'll hear it but it can be hard to hear sometimes if you're not in a quiet area. then check all the fuses to see if any are blown there's a label on the fuse box cover that will tell you the fuse you're looking at. that's a good start good luck.
