So, my truck was giving the code p0507 and I've changed everything from vacuums to anything else I thought it could be, but it will go fine for a few minutes, or a little bit then start going into limp mode and if I turn off the motor started back it will go good for a while then go back into limp mode after a little while.

Hi,

The code is related to an issue with the idle air control valve. I'm not sure, but I don't feel that would cause it to go into limp mode. I would think it would cause idling issues or rough running issues.

When you say limp mode, do you mean the transmission isn't shifting, the engine loses power, or is something different happening?

What I've done is attached the diagnostics related to the code you have. The attachments contain a description of the code, things that could cause it, and what to check. Take a look through this and let me know if you are comfortable doing it and if you have any questions.

Take care,

Joe
