I have trouble codes in the order listed.
P0641
P0107
P0452
P0522
P2228
Is there any possible way I could be helped through this situation? The vehicle is running rough. It has stalled a few times while accelerating from stop and idling is quite rough.
I did have a cmp/ckp code which has since disappeared since I found the harness wires were all exposed at the connector. I replaced the connector and made sure all the wires weren’t exposed, plugged it all back in and the codes haven’t come back except for the aforementioned ones above.
Also, the car wldnt start this morning. It may be worth mentioning, this is not my vehicle. I am trying to help fix it for a friend and I am not near the vehicle at the moment but will be headed there shortly.
Also, it is saying to replace the map sensor. I pulled one from a 2008 impala and it didn’t seem to match up. Is there a specific year I need to focus on and also, does the sensor need to be from another 3.9L or will a 3.5L map sensor suffice? Thank you in advance for your time, knowledge and patience.

Hello

The P0641 - 5 Volt Reference Circuit 1 code is the clue, so I would use a voltmeter and monitor the 5 volts and then start unplugging the sensors starting with the MAF sensor. A shorted sensor will cause this issue.

P0107-MAP sensor circuit low
P0452-EVAP pressure sensor circuit low
P0522-Oil pressure sensor circuit low
P2228-Barometric pressure sensor circuit low

When the 5 volts returns and have found the problem. The color wire (5 volt) is not the same for all of these sensors. The easiest to get to is the MAF sensor (tan wire). Let me know what you find. I am betting on the MAF sensor, Ken
