Trouble code #22

Vehicle starts okay, idling at 1,000 rpm's. After engine is warm idling goes down to 600 rpm's and gives the engine check light on dash. Trouble code #22 water temperature sensor circuit fault.

Already have changed the engine temperature sensor and the voltage on the connector is 8V.

What else could be the problem?

Hello,

Manufacturer Direct Trouble Code(DTC) #22 is not for a Engine Coolant Temperature sensor(ECT) but for a problem with your vehicle's ABS Actuator Solenoid circuit. In the diagrams down below I have included the factory diagnostic troubleshooting guide for this DTC for your vehicle.
