I purchased a low milage car listed above that had been in a prior rear end collision. The car was restored by a reputable business. I bought the car with 62,000 miles on it. At about 70,000 ish. The car started slipping while driving it shifted into gear just fine. But I could feel a slip while driving. I took it to AAMCO transmission at 77,000 miles to have this issue addressed. They replaced the TCC and EPC solenoids. The transmission is a T65E. They also changed the filter and fluid in the transmission. The car did just fine, drove approximately 10,000 miles now it is doing something strange. I have never seen anything like it before and I need help. Now you can start the car and it still drives just fine, goes into gear good, everything works as it should. But after about two and a half to 3 minutes of running from a cold start you can pull the dipstick and watch transmission fluid back up out the fill tube like a geyser? I don't know much about transmissions so this to me was a mystery. Please help.

Hi,

If the transmission isn't over full, then suspect the transmission breather is likely clogged. If you take a look below, I provided the directions for replacing the vent. If you decide to do this, I attached a pic below (pic 3) which I believe is the one you need for your vehicle. It includes the OEM part number.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

joe
