I have the vehicle listed above v6. Ran and drove great for a bit, now it's doing what a lot of people on this site talking about. It seams to start up great and within less than a minute it just stalls out. So other flip side to this story is my wife also has the same vehicle except hers is a 2002 same everything except hers does not have a dipstick on the transmission but mine the 2004 does have a dipstick for the transmission. So my questions' plural haha is can I swap the transmissions if need be? Can I swap idle control valves etc? Just pretty much anything under the hood? How similar are the two because the only difference I'm seeing is the dipstick deal. Reasons for the post is to ask about comparison of the two transmissions because at this point they are both down and hers starts right up and will run all day, but something I personally think it was the torque converter locking up then breaking free because the transmission is shot. But it will fire up and run other vehicle in the backyard wont fire up and stay running. But when it did it shifted great and fine. So I'm stuck. Any help? PS. Sorry for the news article. Haha

Yes. It appears the unit will work in this vehicle.

Here is a video that will help with replacing the unit:

Plus here is the info from the manual that will help with replacing this as well.

Let us know if there are more questions. Thanks
