I'm 450 miles away from home and need to use some transmission stop leak on my vehicle just to make it home so I can take it to the shop. Is that possible to do using Valvoline maxlife high mileage transmission stop leak?

Hello,

How bad is it leaking?
Is it dripping out of the bottom?

Keep in mind depending on the size and nature of the leak the stop leak might not do anything.

If there is a seal that is leaking most likely the stop leak will not do anything.

Also keep in mind if you were to add the stop leak, you do not want to overfill the transmission. Only added to the full mark.

Another thing to keep in mind that your vehicle is equipped with a CVT transmission, if you were to add any type of fluid you want to make sure it is compatible with CVT transmissions.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
