I bottomed the car out and had to replace the transmission pack solenoid. Car will start and change gears but will not stay started. I'm getting multiple answers on what to do. I'm told I do need to get it programmed since I replaced the solenoid pack. Then I'm told that is not necessary cause it was just the solenoid pack.

Hi,

I just ran through the install directions for the trans solenoids. There doesn't appear to be a relearn.

One thing is there is a heated oxygen sensor that needs unplugged when removing the transmission pan. The connector is at the front of the transmission pan rail and it would have required them to disconnect the wire retaining clip from the right side of the transmission pan rail. Make sure they have been reconnected.

Next, are you able to keep the engine running? In other words, does it only stall when it is at an idle?

Was there any damage to the exhaust system? Anything damaged as far as the fuel tank or the bottom of the engine?

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe
